Luke Irvin Chrisco, 30, of Boulder, Colorado, is only trying to start a new "goddess religion". At least, that's his explanation of why he was hiding in the waste pit of a porta-potty at a yoga festival at Boulder High School.
In jailhouse interviews, Chrisco said he first started hiding and peeping at women in France, where he found a loose vent where he could see into the women's locker room. "These chicks started showing up that I never had a chance with," he explained, and "I've come to know how interesting
they are."

That led to his idea for new goddess religion, he says, "some place people could be spiritual but also instinctual". While sitting in the porta-potty for two days, "I thought, 'This is really amazing; I've been blessed and anointed by the makers of life'." He claims his peeping is "my private way to exercise my spiritual beliefs," and he's not bothered by wading in waste. "There's bacteria in there, but to me it's just normal," he said. "We all have bodily fluids."
