 Man bashed with cricket bats, rolling pins

Two men have been charged after allegedly kidnapping a 25-year-old man and assaulting him with cricket bats and rolling pins in Sydney's inner west.

The 25-year-old victim was at his apartment in Sydney's inner west on Saturday night when two men forced their way in and assaulted him, before taking him to a nearby unit and attacking him with cricket bats and rolling pins.
Police were called to the second unit, on Russell Street in Strathfield, where they arrested two men, aged 22 and 24.
The victim is being treated in hospital for a suspected broken jaw, facial bruises as well as neck and shoulder injuries.
