He packs way too much energy into a short spell, great for one days & T20s, test matches are more about stamina. My favourite test bowler of all times is probably still Glen McGrath (Notice i said favourite, not necessarily best) - what great consistency and temperament, and a gentleman of the game.
His retirement from test cricket after just 101 wickets is a reflection of what happens when cricket boards push their players into a corner over T20 in general and the IPL in particular. He is as much injured as I am!
